• In late 1999, the Boston Phoenix, Boston's larges weekly newspaper, ran a profile and history of the Student Underground.
• In the fall of 2000, The Daily Free press, BU's mainstream daily, ran a story about the founding of a new conservative campus paper, and looked to the Student Underground for guidence in this complex issue.
• Later that fall, the DFP ran a really silly "investigative" piece about ties between the Underground and the BU Student Government.
• We were pleased to see this response a few days later.
• In the next issue of the Underground we responded with a little investigation of our own.
• The Boston Globe, Boston's largest daily, ran a peice about the extravagent housing benifits BU executives recieve, and cited a Student Underground article for figures.
• The Allston Chronicle ran a great peice in March '02 about us, our feelings on the changing face of Allston, class conflict, and the injustice of the free-market real estate system. All in one article, too!
• In its Jan 22nd-Jan 23rd, The Weekly Dig featured a comprehensive piece about Silber that uses quotes from several Underground staff members.

The Student Underground was founded by Boston University students and is based at BU. We are not afiliated with BU, and the staff is open to members of other campuses as well as to non-students.
